Temporary Traffic Restriction 2022

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the C319 Thorpland from 634m east of its junction with C319 Thorpland Road for 10m eastwards in the TOWN OF FAKENHAM will be temporarily prohibited from 24th February to 2nd March 2022 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 7 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

Alternative route is via: C319 Thorpland, C319 Fakenham Road, C317 Norwich Road, C317 Great Snoring Road, C317 The Street, A148 Holt Road, A148 Fakenham Bypass (Little Snoring, Kettlestone, Fakenham, Great Snoring).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
