Please note that the Parish Council meeting which was due to take place on 14 January 2021 has been cancelled. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 11 March 2021.

In order to minimize the spread of coronavirus, only parish councillors and clerk  are to attend in person). Members of the public who wish to raise matters of concern may do so by emailing [email protected] .

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C319 Thorpland from a point 396 metres north of its junction with the A148 Holt Road for a distance of 50 metres in the TOWN OF FAKENHAM because of water connection works.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 8^th June 2020 to 10^th June 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be 3 days within the period.

Alternative route is via: Thorpland, Fakenham Bypass, Holt Road, The Street, Great Snoring Road, Norwich Road, Fakenham Road (Fakenham, Great Snoring, Little Snoring, Kettlestone).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
